Without further delay, here are some snaps of our guest house in Brooklyn, Pretoria. It’s a comfortable place and the staff is friendly and eager to help. Not all of them understand why we brought Indie with us, and some are afraid of dogs, but that’s another story for another day. In the meantime, here’s a look at how we livin’ (R.I.P. Biggie) for the next month:
- Street entrance to guest house
- Security gate (note cameras and electric entry box)
- Inner courtyard/driveway

- Basketball court?? (Hoop is about 12 ft off the ground, right next to AC unit. Different.)

Jenny and Ryan, this is such a treat to ‘see’ into your new lives. I love that you already have a bouquet in your bedroom. Is this temporary or your place for the whole year – it’s lovely!
Glad that Indie is getting mixed reviews….that’s her Chicago style!
Love Colleen
Thanks, Col! We’ll be here until early August, then moving to a more “permanent” place. Indie definitely gets mixed reviews!
Speaking of reviews, you need to come here when it’s summer so you can review all the flowers & plants with us! Do it!
Looks cozy, clean, and beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Missed you at the book club last night. Enjoy!
